PLATINUM HOUSE

CHALLENGE: Launch the first ever international Platinum House for American Express across a quintessentially British cultural moment.

IDEA: We created the ultimate day to night destination at London Fashion Week. Under the concept of Deconstructed Fashion and hosted in the Old Central Saint Martin’s College, Cardmembers were taken on an immersive journey inspired by the beautiful chaos of London’s fashion, food and arts scene. Experiences ranged from a live art installation by graffiti artist Jay Kaes to Black Tomato’s Hidden London, where discoverable moments were scattered throughout the venue revealing the city’s must-see sights. Then there was the entertainment: with incredible live sets by Grammy-nominated James Bay and electro master SG Lewis; a surprise performance by contemporary dance company, Chrysalis London; and the big finale from IT girl of the moment, Alexa Chung, who hosted her first ever LFW after party on the closing night.

ROLE: Concepts & Copy.

BLACK TOMATO’S HIDDEN LONDON
Our partnership with Black Tomato came to life as a secret scavenger that invited guests to uncover the best hotspots in London. From a secret rose garden in Hyde Park in the form of a delicious Blue Rose Martini, to a mirrored table engraved with Fashion Week coordinates for the Royal Observatory - the Hidden London experience added an unexpected twist to the Platinum experience.

JAY KAES X AWAY
We also added a splash of drama to the evening with a live art installation brought to life across three days and nights. Inspired by the fashion epicentre of London, Brick Lane, graffiti artist Jay Kaes created a striking mural across a wall of platinum silver suitcases from luxury travel brand, AWAY. The result was a show-stopping “Fashion Deconstructed” masterpiece - one of Platinum House’s most shared moments.
