ART OF WORK

CHALLENGE: Tell the Microsoft & SAP partnership story to busy, time-poor C-Suites in a compelling and persuasive way.

IDEA: We transformed a typically dry tech story into an immersive and intelligent experience. Taking three complex customer models, we worked alongside London’s leading creative studios to reimagine each Big Data story. This formed Microsoft’s first Intelligent Cloud art exhibition, aptly name ‘Art of Work’.

ROLE: Concepts & Copy.

CUTTING EDGE INSTALLATIONS

The common thread throughout each story was the way in which the Cloud’s efficiency creates more time and opportunity for human imagination to play. This idea of “human empowerment” inspired the first thought of transforming the elusive, virtual cloud into a tangible, physical experience. Allowing potential C-suite customers to see Big Data transformed into artwork, by the imagination of two of London’s leading creative studios.

CLOUD ENSEMBLE

Exhibited at London Tech Week’s TechXLR8; imagined by Architecture Social Club; inspired by Centrica’s migration journey. Cloud Ensemble reacted to the movements of guests who gazed, danced or selfied beneath the striking canopy of white fans. This became an analogy of the global energy company’s reactive migration of its 70 Terabyte SAP estate to the Microsoft Azure intelligent cloud.

RESPONSIVE POTENTIAL

Exhibited at OXO2; imagined by FIELD; inspired by the Co-op’s migration story. Responsive Potential immersed guests into the retail data architecture of the future. By simply picking up a product placed in front of the installation, they could power and control this mesmerising light installation - bringing to life the responsiveness of the retailer’s supply chains.

ADAPTIVE COGNITION

Exhibited at OXO2. Imagined by FIELD. Inspired by City & Guilds Group migration story, Adaptive Cognition is an interactive journey through the evolving data-verse of the learning curriculum. With the core principal of operational elasticity at the heart of the installation, it dramatised their commitment to personalised learning structures for millions of students around the world.
