JUST EAT

CHALLENGE: Did somebody say Just Eat? Well, actually, most of the country in 2020. With lockdowns becoming the new normal, delicious food delivered to your door has become something of a treat. No, an event. The only reliable plan in our diaries! My job was to support the copy team with all digital comms, from tasty discounts landing on the app to the delicious new dishes arriving in the inboxes of hungry customers everywhere.

IDEA: From food punning for Taste of London to practical Covid updates for Couriers, I’ve got stuck in with it all.

ROLE: Copy

  1. Taste of London
Leaflets, social and CRM messaging to bring to life Just Eat’s partnership with Taste of London, refreshing the themes each month including Veganuary to kickstart the year and (Chinese New Year for February.

Example Social Post

Busting the biggest myths about Vegan food, it’s Seema & Sophie from MOB Kitchen. For the first time ever, get their inspired plant-based menu delivered to your sofa from 14-17 January, as part of our Taste Delivered collab with Taste of London. Brixton local? Click the link, get your order in the kitchen - and enjoy free delivery, too. V-licious 🌱🙌

2. NOTPLA Sustainable Boxes
Messaging for boxes and leaflets communicating the innovative, earth-saving materials used by NOTPLA (as biodegradable as your lunchtime apple!), and simple instructions for compost disposal.

3. CRM Writing
From 20% off for the rugby to BOGOF Ben & Jerry’s, I’ve whizzed up snappy email campaigns (all supported by in-app messages, push notifications and more) featuring delicious deals that get people to tap the app and order a tasty fave.

4. London Free Delivery

Treating the capital to free delivery on all their faves, I’ve written tempting emails and tasty push notifications to reflect the big brands customers love to see arriving at their doors. McDonald’s minus fees? Legendary.

4. Huawei Partnership
Snappy, simple headlines to encourage Huawei customers to download the Just Eat app for tasty discounts.
